Beth made me a prettiful thing for my new story that I'm writing which - shock horror - is not SPN nor is it Rob Thurman! It's original and hopefully will be finished by the end of January for the TWG challenge. I love the fact the firey background looks like she's wearing wings. And I love how good these two actors look together. Very very cool. Little evil genius :D

maxandkiz</lj> we're having a wee competition to write a story for any fandom or original piece using the prompt word COLD. I love this word for a number of reasons, but mostly because the dictionary definition of it made me laugh my ass off.

That's such a great definition!! I know some of you Supernatural writers out there will have a frigging ball with that one!! Especially you limpers! Let me count the ways thou can freeze poor Sam Winchester to death to near fatal peril.

In my young but learned life I have come to realise two certainties. The first being that one day we all die. Whether or not that is at 70 or 27 or 15, it WILL happen. There is NOTHING u can do to cheat death, you just have to smile sweetly and hold on to your arse.
The second certainty I have come to see is that no matter what happens in your life, your extended family will ALWAYS find a way to ruin your Christmas holiday.
Ok I’m ranting. My new year’s resolution is to do LESS of that....
So I had a pretty good Christmas, despite my intense hatred of the season, and my being loathe to go home. If I had had my own way, I would just sleep through the entire holiday. I admit I had a good time. I got drunk, ate, got nice things and most importantly I spent two glorious days with my parents and my brothers and sister. It was nice. I enjoyed it... ok go on, and say I told u so.

So as u can tell from the title, I’ve just been to watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire!!! My first thoughts being it wasn’t as good as the book but then films never are, but it was amazing nevertheless. The beginning was a little disjointed. It kinda jumped around a lot, trying to fit everything in, well it is a 600 page odd novel, but once it kicked in it was brilliant. I think my housemates thought I was mental ‘cause I was on the edge of my seat the entire way through!!! And ahhhh the end! Oh my god... ok so I knew Cedric Diggory gets Avada Kevarda'd (i think that’s how you spell it) but even so... when Harry got back to Hogwarts I was like CRY.

Uh so what else apart from that has been happening?? Ummm not a lot really. I have a stupid amount of work to do, which I should be doing now. Whoops. I WILL get to it once I’ve done this. I’m impoverish AGAIN. Other than that life is peachy. Gonna go and do some research now.
